Abbey athletes held their own at the Antrim International Cross Country on Sat. 3 Jan. at Greenmount College. With four athletes competing in the women's race, Abbey had the largest representation of any Northern Ireland club, including two of the top three women from Northern Irish clubs.

PAUL AT EUROPEAN XC CHAMPS
Paul Pollock placed 57th at the European Under-23 Cross Country Championships on Sunday 14 December in Belgium. Paul was the fourth scorer for the Irish team, which finished eighth overall.
WOMEN WIN NI 10K TITLE AT SEELEY
The Abbey women captured the Northern Ireland 10k road racing title on Sat. 6 Dec at the Seeley Cup in Ormeau Park. The team got outstanding performances from Gladys Ganiel-O’Neill, Judi Graham and Gemma Turley to lift the crown. Abbey had 16 competitors in the always popular annual race, which attracted a record field of 640.
